Lou Larasso was an extremely capable mafioso, who served as a capo in the DeCavalcante Family of New Jersey. He was active in union racketeering, labor extortion, gambling, and strong-arm tactics. He attended the Apalachin Mafia Meeting at Joe Barbara’s estate in 1957. Boss Sam DeCavalcante held Larasso in high regard, but in the early 1990s, it was time for Fat Lou to go.
