Ralph Jacobson was an enforcer for the Genovese Family involved in bankruptcy fraud and other rackets throughout New York. He was also the brother of Sam Jacobson, whom federal and local authorities called Meyer Lansky’s “Man in New York.”
In the early 1970s, The Beak was involved in a high-profile murder of an East Elmhurst nightclub owner.
