Angelo “Little Angie” Tuminaro was a lifelong Lower East Side hoodlum who rose to become one of the most elusive narcotics traffickers in American organized crime history. A “made” member of the Lucchese Family, Tuminaro operated out of Manhattan and managed international heroin pipelines stretching from Montreal to Europe. He played a central role in the case that became known as the French Connection — the largest heroin seizure of its time.
