Carlo Gambino had a favorite diversion?
According to a 1963 news report trying to unravel the mysteries of mob boss Carlo Gambino (written at the time of the Valachi hearings), it stated Gambino’s favorite “diversion” while at his home in Massapequa, Long Island was reported to be “good Italian food, which he serves to his guests.

“The home is reportedly fully staffed with maids and a cook,” the newspaper reported. “But he prefers to have his wife do the cooking when friends, or fellow mobsters, come to call.”
