In this newly expanded and revised bio, we explore the life of Eugene “Little Gene” Giannone, a key soldier and top-level aide to capo Giuseppe (Joe Brown) Lucchese, the brother of legendary Mafia boss Tommy Lucchese. Giannone was known to mostly operate as a gambler. Over the years, he was tied to various major horse bookmaking and numbers operations the crew operated in the Corona, Elmhurst, Rego Park, Flushing and Jackson Heights sections of the borough.
