Frank (Big Frank) Pasqua was a soldier in the Gambino Crime Family who authorities considered a narcotics “czar” and a top interstate narcotics trafficker. In fact, authorities believed that Pasqua was a steady source of supply for several mafia-connected Windy City heroin traffickers, including the notorious Angelo (The Hook) LaPietra. But he was also involved in other rackets as well including stolen securities fraud and extortion.
Pasqua also had many family members, including two sons and several grandsons, who were involved in the mafia. His son Richard and his grandson Frank Pasqua III would later become federal informants.
