Michael (Mike the Sailor) Casale was a soldier in the Bonanno Family serving in the rebel Paul Sciacca regime. In 1968, Casale traveled to Tucson, Arizona, just a few weeks after the Bonanno home bombings because he told police he had a “sore throat.” Obviously, there were other reasons for his trip.
