By the mid-1960s, he resided at 551 Nichols Rd., in Deer Park, Long Island. He was identified by the Suffolk D.A.’s office as a Lucchese Family associate. DiMaggio had a long criminal history which included 13 arrests for assault, larceny, conspiracy, sale of heroin (4 times), possession of gambling records (retrieved from his disabled car on the Long Island Expressway,) and parole violations. He was convicted of narcotics sales (3 convictions with jail terms from 18 months to 7 years), violating parole, and gambling records. DiMaggio fell off the radar by the late 1970s.
