In 1952, Lawrence (Larry the Fixer) Knohl was the subject of a bribery investigation as a result of allegedly acting as a go-between in an income tax scandal involving T. Lamar Caudle, a former Assistant United States Attorney General.
Lawrence (Larry the Fixer) Knohl – aka “Larry Kay” – was born in 1906 in NYC. He lived at 75 E. Beech Street in Long Beach, Long Island since the early 1950s. Knohl was a notorious “confidence man” and swindler originally based in New York City.
