Paolo Fraccareta was a little-known mob figure active in Downtown Manhattan and Greenwich Village. Law enforcement documented him as a soldier in the Genovese Family.
Paolo (Charlie the Wop) Fraccacreta – aka Paul, Charlie Fraccacreta, and Charles Montenegro – was born in Naples, Italy, on August 13, 1898. He originally lived in Lower Manhattan before relocating to 40-18 Junction Blvd. in the Corona, Queens area in the 1950s. He later resided at 49-27 168th Street in the Flushing section.

He was close to and most probably affiliated with the crew headed by Anthony (Tony Bender) Strollo before his disappearance.
