Remo Franceschini was an NYPD detective and Commander of the Queens DA Squad who, according to his obituary, “dedicated his life’s work to the fight against organized crime.” After serving in the Air Force, he joined the NYPD in 1957 and remained there for 35 years until his retirement in 1991.
