Federal and local authorities described William (Willy the Creep) Conforte as a devout hoodlum and career criminal who was never known to be engaged in any legitimate business or to have worked a single day in his life.
Instead, Willy the Creep was said to have devoted his entire “career” toward criminal activities such as thefts, currency counterfeiting, gambling, strong-arm work and extortion, and narcotics trafficking.
